Chapter 2 - Marketing


Bobbie Brown Cosmetics has set themselves apart from any other makeup company because they have a target market of working women who are more about style than following regular trends. It is geared to the modern woman who is career driven and also wants to feel pretty.

 Bobbies unique approach to makeup is reflected in her marketing campaigns like her latest taxi ads which debuted today for Fashion night out.  Besides the taxi toppers showing off her new collection of fall lipsticks those taxis with access to tvs will debut her quick smoky eye tutorial which is also filmed in a taxi. This shows women that it doesn’t not take much time to look amazing and the results will be long lasting which is important to the modern day woman.  Also the “Hey Pretty “ campaign which was launched last year evoked 30 women telling there stories on their looks as well as what inspires confidence within them. It is a campaign about celebrating real women not models.  The campaign last year feature graffiti style art work to attract the younger generation.
Theses marketing campaigns have really helped them reach many women who might not have known about her company since last year it became available to more trendy makeup stores such as Sephora. Women of all ages have began to embrace the style that Bobbie offers them. since style is timeless.  . Also earlier this month she launched her own blog. This is a way for her customers to get to know her and trust her and therefore trust her products.
